I was born in Portland, Oregon. I greatly enjoyed the benefits of living so close to the beach and mountains during my formative years. Upon graduating from Lewis and Clark college, I moved to Southern California for the job market (and to be close to Disneyland). I spent 10 years in the LA area, got married, then moved to Las Vegas for 4 years. My family and I now live in Orlando, FL. ::: I’ve felt the pulsing wires of the internet since 1991 when I found alt.cyberpunk and rec.arts.disney via mycollege BITNET account. I then joined the FutureCulture e-list and, later, started the 'Sundays in the Park' group at Disneyland. Since then I've followed those twin passions in my online writing and indulgences. Oh yeah, there was the uber-crack known as mudding in there somewhere (PernMUSH, PixieMUD shoutouts). ::: I current work as the ePhilanthropy Specialist for a 501.c.3 charity in the Orlando, FL area. We provide magical cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses who wish to visit Walt Disney World, Universal, or SeaWorld; see Mickey Mouse, meet a princess, or otherwise escape their everyday life of doctors visits and hospital stays.
